What do wavy lines in a comic strip mean?
That depends on the context. Vertical wavy lines might indicate heat, or smoke, or a strong odor. Horizontal wavy lines could
mean water, or they could be used to show something is in motion. Wavy lines radiating from someone's head usually indicate
anger or frustration. Is there a particular comic strip that has you puzzled? Let me know where I can see it on the web, or else
tell me the name and date of the strip, and I'll see if I can help you more.
