names of the little, ham-shaped, peaceful creatures from Li'l Abner that

meal with their little bodies?
They were the Shmoo.
What comic strip is "the Shmoo" from and how do I find a picture of
him?
The Shmoo, a species of creature that existed only to make people happy,
was a mainstay of Al Capp's hillbilly comic strip, "Li'l Abner," and also
appeared on television with the Flintstones in the late 1970s in a series
called "Fred and Barney Meet the Shmoo." You can see a picture of a Shmoo
