What is the meaning of "Fap"? Not a philosophical question...merely a literal one.

I never heard the term "FAP" before. However, I just did some investigating, and found out that "FAP" appears to be short for "Furry Artist Pages" (or possibly "Furries and Anthropomorphics Pages," depending who you ask)... websites featuring comics or cartoons about animals that talk and act like humans.
