OK, so you seem
to know a lot about cartoons. My question is: was there ever a dog in
"The Flintstones" named Sassy? My mom thinks it may have been Dino's girlfriend
and is making me find out.
"The Adventures of Sassie" was a spoof of "Lassie" in the Flintstones episode, "Dino Goes
Hollyrock." Dino fell for the TV star and was jilted.
When did Dino debut on "The Flintstones?" When did the show originally air?
The original Flintstones series ran from 1960 to 1966. Dino debuted in the 18th episode, "The Snorkasaurus Hunt," first aired in January 1961.
Dino's voice, as well as Barney Rubble's, was provided by the late, great Mel Blanc.
