CELEBRATE CARTOONISTS DAY!

It appears as if suddenly about 2 months ago, "Apartment 3-G" had been drawn by someone else. Unlike other strips that have changed artists, the characters don't look at all like they used to. Can you tell me what happened and why?

I haven't read "Apartment 3-G" in awhile, so I checked out its website. Once drawn by Brian Kotzky, the art is now being done by soap opera strip veteran Frank Bolle. Frank's previous strip, "The Heart of Juliet Jones," was discontinued in January 2000. My speculation is that Kotzky wanted to leave the strip, so the syndicate cancelled the less popular "Juliet Jones" to free Bolle to work on "3-G." If anyone knows the full story, please e-mail me.
