Ernie Colón's comic book work is quite varied, including humor titles such as Richie Rich and Casper the Friendly Ghost; adventure fantasies like Arak, Son of Thunder and Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld; science fiction stories including Magnus: Robot Fighter, Doctor Doom 2099, and the graphic novel, Ax; and the more realistic The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation. He did this sketch for me at a Berndt Toast Gang luncheon on March 26, 2009, three days after he finished work on a graphic biography of revolutionary leader Che Guevara, to be published soon.
