Neal AdamsBack | Back to Gallery | NextNeal started in cartooning as the artist on the Ben Casey newspaper strip in the 1960s. In the later '60s and early '70s, he wowed the comic book world with his innovative designs and moody interpretations of Batman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, X-Men, the Spectre, and the cult favorite Deadman. I spent about two hours following him at a 1971 New York comic art convention to get this sketch of Green Arrow. |
