In the later '60s and early '70s, he wowed the comic book world with his innovative designs and moody interpretations of Batman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, X-Men, the Spectre, and the cult favorite Deadman. I spent about two hours following him at a 1971 New York comic art convention to get this sketch of Green Arrow. |
